Woodcock Walk: In Search of the Timberdoodle

As the daylight fades, the evening erupts in the sounds of early spring. Amongst the calls of the spring peepers and woods frogs, one can hear the “peent!” of the American woodcock, also known as the Timberdoodle. Come along on an evening walk to learn about these amazing birds, listen for their “peent” calls, and maybe even see a male perform his impressive courtship flight! Children must always be accompanied by a registered adult. Space is limited and registration is required.
