3:00pm - The Squash! Spotted Lanternfly Search (sold out)
Join Mohonk Preserve Conservation Science Staff and Community Science volunteers for an afternoon searching for and eliminating adult spotted lanternflies (SLF). We will review the impact of SLF on our environment, how to identify and search for SLF, and techniques for squashing them. Following, we will spend plenty of time searching, counting and eliminating them in an effort to slow the spread! Learn more about SLF and our ongoing Spotted Lanternfly Project efforts.
