Formed in 2008, this accomplished group features top musicians from across the Mid‑Hudson Valley, each dedicated to celebrating the rich traditions of American jazz. Audiences will be treated to classic arrangements made famous by legends like Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, and Count Basie, along with the bold, driving charts of Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, and Gordon Goodwin. With vibrant brass, smooth reeds, and a rhythm section that keeps every toe tapping, The Jazz Pioneers deliver a performance that’s both nostalgic and joyfully alive.
